Please attend to help Wesley Mission raise $180,000 (or more) for their Homeless Services!
When: Tuesday 25 June 2019
Where: Doltone House, Darling Island Wharf, Sydney
Time: 12—3pm
Wesley is one of Australia’s iconic charities and a longtime client and friend of IBT’s. We’ve been very proud to work closely with them since 2009.
Indeed, 2009 was an extra memorable year. This was the year Wesley started their highly successful and worthwhile annual luncheon – Heroes United.
For this year, IBT is honored to continue our support as one of the Silver Sponsors of Heroes United. The luncheon raises much needed funds to help the homeless and this year’s fundraising will be particularly focused on their work at Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge.
Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge is a place where homeless and vulnerable men and women can get help in the heart of Sydney. Decades of use have taken a toll on the building and your support will help ensure the lodge is better equipped to meet the needs of those we help for years to come.
The ABC’s 7.30 Report anchor will be hosting – the compassionate and insightful Leigh Sales! She’ll be interviewing inspiring Heroes from our community who have overcome great challenges and obstacles in their lives.
You’ll hear from Louisa Hope – the Lindt Café siege survivor, Todd Russell – Beaconsfield mine disaster survivor, Dana Vulin – burns survivor, and Ben Farinazzo – Australian Army PTSD survivor and Invictus Games gold medalist.
