Bringing Decision Makers Together In One Forum

Bringing Decision Makers Together In One Forum

IBT is proud to announce our first discussion forum – a relevant and ‘easy to access as time permits’ discussion between Federal Government and University Peers

Federal government organisations and universities are amongst Australia’s largest technology users. Both institutions are completely reliant on today’s technology, and need to keep track of future trends and solutions.

This initial forum brings Federal Government and University CIOs together in a convenient and private LinkedIn online forum to share their experiences and views, we hope to facilitate a discussion between technology leaders facing similar issues and challenges. Our aim is to provide a new avenue of knowledge exchange amongst peers who would otherwise rarely find many opportunities to connect with and learn from each other.

Moderated by IBT, the forum includes a range of topics from the pros and cons of the cloud to transforming Big Data into decision-ready information, from securing funding to staff attraction and retention.

Based on feedback from this forum, further LinkedIn discussion opportunities will be announced in 2014. By introducing senior technology managers from other interdependent industries we hope to drive idea generation and perhaps even solve some common problems.
