A: One of the best functions of NetSuite is the Global Search. The NetSuite global search tool enables you to find any type of record from a single keyword query. Global search is often the quickest way to locate data in NetSuite.
You can quickly move the cursor to this Search field by pressing Alt+G.
Let’s see an example: If I wanted to open Invoice 1027 in NetSuite, I could go to the Global search and put in the prefix INV: 1027 and the record would pop up, giving me an option to either click and view the record or click on Edit and have the record in edit more.
